Camryn Flores, Class of 2019 

 A multi-talented musician during her time at Lanier, Camryn played flute in the Marching Band (serving as Band Captain in 2017 and Drum Major in 2018!) and participated in both Symphonic Winds and Concert Band.

After graduating, Camryn continued her musical journey at Georgia Tech, where she marched piccolo in the Yellow Jacket Marching Band for all four years of her undergrad. She recently earned both her BS and MS in Environmental Engineering from GT and is now working as an environmental engineer at Freese and Nichols!

Camryn shares that her time in the Lanier band helped build a strong sense of community and taught her the values of hard work, teamwork, and leadership—skills she uses every day while designing water infrastructure projects across the Metro Atlanta area. She is currently working toward her goal of becoming a licensed Professional Engineer.
